Hmmn. I must concur with Mistgod. There is more "fire" and moodiness to the eyes as well as the expression. There may be a bit of playfulness as well.

Think of the word balloon having the following lines with that expression:
"You may see me as a simple tavern server but don't you EVER ask me to stand aside when a fight is nigh or you will never walk normally again!"

Now is that sullen?
